Tel Aviv jazz singer/songwriter KerenDun and NY-based pianist Nitai Hershkovits announced their forthcoming EP, Let the Mountain In, and shared their first collaborative track 'Woman's Reach' a few weeks ago. Let the Mountain In is now out; it's a delicate and light body of work that sees piano and voice synthesise in the most organic way. Starting the collaboration from a place that was 'primal and natural', the sound of the EP has followed suit. Like with the lead single, 'Womans Reach', the second track has also been released alongside a live performance video: 'Out Of The Sunless Pools (Live)'. This time, the song starts with Hershkovits on vocals and piano, soft and seamless like Chet Baker. KerenDun joins, her harmonies weaving gracefully under and over Hershkovits'.
